Campus Common is the brainchild of the Horizon Legacy Infrastructure Corp., a company inspired by a vision of creating a new model for exciting and affordable student living in downtown Toronto. Our track record of developing high-quality projects that continue to flourish over the long term stretches back over 50 years.
Horizon Legacy Infrastructure Corp. is one of the companies under the umbrella of Horizon Legacy Group (Horizon Legacy). Horizon Legacy has a distinguished 50-year history of developing and managing commercial real estate projects in Toronto. One of the chief creative forces behind the development of the subway-related office towers along Yonge Street and University Avenue, the Company has an impressive project list that includes:
- Prudential Building at King & Yonge (1958)
- National Trust Building at King & Yonge (1959)
- Procter & Gamble Building at St. Clair and Yonge (1963)
- Travellers Insurance Building at University and Dundas (1965)
- Yonge-Eglinton Centre (1974)
- Atrium-on-Bay at Dundas (1978)
- One Financial Place at Yonge and Adelaide (1988-1991)
The Company developed, owned and managed 800 residential suites at 33 Orchardview View and 411 Duplex for 30 years. In 2002, the Company’s construction division built Trellis Gardens, a non-profit apartment building with the assistance of the City of Toronto and charitable organizations.
